Here I am, in a place on our route.
The business does not exist any more, but who knows, maybe we will happen on it. The park (where outdoor pictures of me were taken) is still there, in the location I remembered.

The Ultimate in Ridiculous

I have been collecting photos of various "monuments" to Route 66.
Through the years I have seen a lot of clothing for sale at museums (but don't currently own any).
And whereas it might be appropriate for ME to have, say, a Route 66 jacket, there is no way I can endorse the item pictured below.

Eight State Journey

Route 66 travel through 8 states between Illinois and California. This is the last leg of "the journey" for me. :)
